Therapy (AAT)
Animal-assisted therapy is a goal-directed intervention conducted by trained and licensed health professionals.
Psychotherapy
A member of our team is currently undergoing doctoral training in Counselling Psychology to be able to administer psychotherapeutic interventions safely and ethically. We hope to begin offering supervised psychotherapy as of September 2025.
Are you a medical, education, or allied health professional?
We can assist in training facility dogs or more advanced working dogs in private practices that are task-trained to support therapeutic interventions and manage the workload of a long day. Our training ensures that your dog enjoys the experience, and their presence in practice enhances rather than detracts from the therapeutic benefit.
Dog Training
We train people to work in partnership with their animals using ethical, science-backed methods.
"Dogs do know how comfortable you are with yourself, how happy you are, how fearful you are, and what is missing inside of you."

I am very happy that my dog and I started this journey with Therapy Dogs Mauritius. Britney is very passionate about her job. She creates a separate work plan for each pet and follows up closely during their training process. She also shares many manual readings with pet owners to support the improvement of our furry friends. Training animals is a long process. It is very important to have an instructor you can trust.

The school is delighted with the visible benefits of having Britney and her dog, Riddley, on the school premises. Riddley is a beautiful black Labrador who is always friendly, incredibly well-trained, and undisruptive to the school environment. Riddley helps students overcome academic anxiety by letting children read stories to her and teaching her maths. She also wears a jacket with a handle that nervous students can hold onto as she walks them from the school gate into class.

My boys would not cope at school as well without Britney and her dog, Riddley. The impact that she has had in the classroom is immense. The boys are always talking about her at home, and she is something that they look forward to in the school day. Britney has been remarkable in dealing with my boys’ anxiety using her dog, Riddley.
